My name is Amia and I am a current high school student looking to expand and contribute to the medical field. I originally came up with the idea to conduct a literature review about autistic cancer patients as that was topic that is closely resonated with me. My grandfather passed away due to lung cancer in 2024, and my cousin is on the autism spectrum. While doing my paper I realized how much the topic of cancer autism patients is ignored and it made me feel I could put something out there to maybe help other doctors and caregivers struggling.
